Job Overview
Arrowhead is helping a plastics manufacturing plant fill a Production Engineer role in Akron, OH. This role will need a minimum 5 years plastic injection molding process experience with late model molding machines and robots, preferably Arburgs.

Responsibilities
- Provides engineering support for all production activities, primary focus in Plastics division.
- Assist with molding machine set-up and process programming on new and existing products.
- Assist with robot programming.
- Responsible for identification and implementation of cost reductions.
- Provides Engineering Support for new project production start-up
- Provides support for resolving quality and production issues within the plant.
- Provides engineering support for the Maintenance Department.
- Assists with development of labor standards for the incentive system with the use of time studies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Experience
- At least 5 years plastic injection molding processes
- Proficient in CAD software preferably Solid Works and Microsoft Office
- BS in Engineering
- Injection mold tooling knowledge
- Knowledge of process engineering to optimize production workflows.
- Experience with robot programming for automated processes is a plus.
- Understanding of industrial equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
